David is most likely THE GREATEST singer in his lifetime and unique..
When he sings you can hear the technical genius but what is more important is how he bears his soul wen he sings which any discerning listener can feel and in turn is touched..you don't have to be a Christian to appreciate this awesome mans voice, just the will to let the voice touch you..
Love you David, always will. No one comes close in your expertise

Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Tribute to the Extraordinary Eva Cassidy ~
I discovered the profound beauty and talent of Eva Cassidy just recently while recovering from surgery. Laptop surfing, I was searching for something to take my mind off the emotional anguish and physical pain of my recent wounds. Somehow I stumbled across the videos of Eva Cassidy's Live performance at Blues Alley.
From her first notes, I was stunned and captivated. And comforted. Her musical selection, interpretation, range, enunciation, sustaining notes, phrasing, rich timbre and vocal acrobatics are exquisitely overwhelming. Her power and softness are a constant marvel. Her delivery is perfection.
The sheer beauty of her music reaches very deep inside me and yet simultaneously transports me far beyond myself.
It is rather foolish to do what I've just done (and have never before felt compelled to do); put together a simple, inadequate slide show. Especially when we are blessed with the great and haunting footage of Eva's live performance at Blues Alley. But it is my humble, yet passionate thank you to Eva Cassidy for sharing her unforgettable music, art and spirit. Her voice is a conduit to something bigger, more profound and extraordinary than words can express.

Death is nothing at all - PoeticExpressions.co.uk
Death is nothing at all
I have only slipped away into the next room
I am I and you are you
Whatever we were to each other
That we are still
Call me by my old familiar name
Speak to me in the easy way you always used
Put no difference into your tone
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow
Laugh as we always laughed
At the little jokes we always enjoyed together
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me
Let my name be ever the household word that it always was
Let it be spoken without effort
Without the ghost of a shadow in it
Life means all that it ever meant
It is the same as it ever was
There is absolute unbroken continuity
What is death but a negligible accident?
Why should I be out of mind
Because I am out of sight?
I am waiting for you for an interval
Somewhere very near
Just around the corner
All is well.
Nothing is past; nothing is lost
One brief moment and all will be as it was before
How we shall laugh at the trouble of parting when we meet again!
Canon Henry Scott-Holland, 1847-1918, Canon of St Paul's Cathedral

The Hidden Story of Jesus (Part 1 of 11)
As Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus, theologian Dr Robert Beckford investigates remarkable parallels to the Christ story in other faiths, some of them predating Christianity by thousands of years.
The Hindu god, Krishna, was conceived by a virgin and his birth was attended by angels, wise men and shepherds. Buddha was also the result of a miraculous birth, and was visited by wise men bearing gifts. He, too, began his ministry at about 30-years-old and performed such miracles as walking on water and feeding 500.
Some people in India believe that Jesus did not die on the cross but escaped from Roman Palestine and ended up in Kashmir. There, they say, he continued to preach, had a wife and child, and later died and was buried.
Jesus was, of course, born a Jew, and Christians believe he is the Messiah prophesied in the Torah, which is the holy scripture of the Jews. Meanwhile, Muslims revere Jesus as a prophet but do not believe he died on the cross. Instead, according to Islam, God saved him and took him up to heaven, and he will return and be buried next to Muhammed.
In this Channel 4 (UK) Christmas Day programme, Robert Beckford attempts to unravel the mystery of why there are so many versions of the Christ story across the world and asks which is the real one, and where this leaves the Christian story and his own belief in Jesus.

Free Hugs Campaign - Official Page (music by Sick Puppies.net )
In this age of social-disconnection most all of us lack that simple human touch from another, the effects of the Free Hugs Campaign are now felt around the globe.
As this simple gesture of kindness and hope spread across the city, police and officials ordered the Free Hugs Campaign BANNED. What we then witnessed was the true spirit of humanity as people came together in what can only be described as something awe inspiring.
In the spirit of the Free Hugs Campaign please pass this video to a friend and HUG a stranger! After all, you CAN make a difference.
Emotional Chill Out Music Touch - Beauty Of This World ( Part 1 )
All that is required is that you appreciate it... In nature... In people... In the situations that make up our daily lives.
We can find angels on the Earth and I know for sure there are some more somewhere .....!!! Humanity does not survive by bread alone. Life requires other things, and Faith and Love are amongst them. For many, perhaps for all, they are the only really important things we have.

Jaywalking - 4th of July (Embarrassing!)
Imagine not knowing what year the United States declared its independence, what country we fought to win our freedom from, or who was the General that led our troops to victory.
As hard as it is to believe, there are actually Americans that are that stupid, and Jay Leno caught up with some of them last week:

Remember the Heroes
I was looking around today and noticed that nobody had this song (studio version). So here is Sammy Hagar's epic 80's power ballad, Remember the Heroes.
LYRICS:
Stranger in a foreign land
Fearful cries surround him.
Returning home a wounded man
To find he's been forgotten, yeah.
Courage is the badge he wears
Blinded by obsession.
Wars are won by those who dare
The memory still haunts him.
Remember the heroes
Who fight for the right to choose.
Remember the heroes
We've all got a lot to lose.
A rebel to the naked eye
An undiscovered legend
Face the facts and don' t ask why.
It's something to believe in.
In the dark
Day and night.
Fight for wrong to prove what's right.
Remember the heroes
Who fight for the right to choose.
Remember the heroes
Just another life to use
Remember the heroes.
We've all got alot to lose.
-solo-
Remember the heroes.
Remember the heroes.
Remember the heroes.
Remember the heroes.
To take a life without a say
Demanded without reason.
To turn our backs and walk away
A faceless act of treason.
A father's son must carry on
The wound is only deepened.
Remember the heroes
Who fight for the right to choose.
Remember the heroes
It's just another life to use
Remember the heroes.
You know we've all got alot to lose.
Remember the heroes
Who's gonna fill their shoes?

Some quotes worth thinking about -^^-
*Other men said they have seen angels,
But I have seen thee
And thou art enough.
~ by G. Moore ~
*What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
~ by Ralph Waldo Emerson ~
*I'd like to run away
From you,
But if you didn't come
And find me ...
I would die.
~ by Shirley Bassey ~
*Deep in my heart I'm concealing things that I'm longing to say. Scared to confess what I'm feeling - frightened you'll slip away.
from the movie Evita
*There are Many things that I would Like to say to you But I Don't know How.
from the song Wonderwall
*I hope you don't mind,
I hope you don't mind,
that I put into words,
how wonderful life is,
now you're in the world.
-- Elton John, "Your Song"
*You KNOW you're in love when you're on YouTube looking for Love Sngs! lol
And... on the other side of the coin:-
*Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.
*Don't cry over anyone who won't cry over you.
*The hardest thing to do is watch the one you love,
love somebody else.
*What do you do when the only person who can
make you stop crying is the
person who made you cry?
*Nobody is perfect until you fall in love with them.

Keith Urban - Song for dad
Lately I've been noticing
I say the same things he used to say
And I even find myself acting the very same way
I tap my fingers on the table
To the rhythm in my soul
And I jingle the car keys
When I'm ready to go
When I look in the mirror
He's right there in my eyes
Starin' back at me and I realize
The older I get
The more I can see
How much he loved my mother and my brother and me
And he did the best that he could
And I only hope when I have my own family
That everyday I see
A little more of my father in me
There were times I thought he was bein'
Just a little bit hard on me
But now I understand he was makin' me
Become the man he knew that I could be
In everything he ever did
He always did with love
And I'm proud today to say I'm his son
When somebody says I hope I get to meet your dad
I just smile and say you already have
The older I get
The more I can see
How much he loved my mother and my brother and me
And he did the best that he could
And I only hope when I have my own family
That everyday I see
A little more of my father in me
He's in my eyes
My heart, my soul
My hands, my pride
And when I feel alone
And I think I can't go on
I hear him sayin' "Son you'll be alright"
Everything's gonna be alright"
Yes it is
The older I get
The more I can see
That he loved my mother and my brother and me
And he did the best that he could
And I only hope when I have my own family
That everyday I see
Oh I hope I see
I hope everyday I see
A little more of my father in me
A little more of my father in me
I hope everyday I see in me
In me
In me
I hope everyday I see
A little more of my father in me

Matthew West - Save A Place For Me (Official Music Video)
Don't be mad if I cry
It just hurts so bad sometimes
'Cause everyday it's sinking in
And I have to say goodbye all over again
You know I bet it feels good to have the weight of this world off your shoulders now
I'm dreaming of the day when I'm finally there with you
Save a place for me
Save a place for me
I'll be there soon
I'll be there soon
Save a place for me
Save some grace for me
I'll be there soon
I'll be there soon
I have asked the question why
But I guess the answer's for another time
So instead I'll pray with every tear
And be thankful for the time I had you here
And I wanna live my life just like you did
Make the most of my time just like you did
And I wanna make my home up in the sky
Just like you did
Oh, but until I get there
Until I get there

Johnny Carson - Jimmy Stewart - Beau Poem
He never came to me when I would call
Unless I had a tennis ball,
Or he felt like it,
But mostly he didn't come at all.
When he was young
He never learned to heel
Or sit or stay,
He did things his way.
Discipline was not his bag
But when you were with him things sure didn't drag.
He'd dig up a rosebush just to spite me,
And when I'd grab him, he'd turn and bite me.
He bit lots of folks from day to day,
The delivery boy was his favorite prey.
The gas man wouldn't read our meter,
He said we owned a real man-eater.
He set the house on fire
But the story's long to tell.
Suffice it to say that he survived
And the house survived as well.
On the evening walks, and Gloria took him,
He was always first out the door.
The Old One and I brought up the rear
Because our bones were sore.
He would charge up the street with Mom hanging on,
What a beautiful pair they were!
And if it was still light and the tourists were out,
They created a bit of a stir.
But every once in a while, he would stop in his tracks
And with a frown on his face look around.
It was just to make sure that the Old One was there
And would follow him where he was bound.
We are early-to-bedders at our house--
I guess I'm the first to retire.
And as I'd leave the room he'd look at me
And get up from his place by the fire.
He knew where the tennis balls were upstairs,
And I'd give him one for a while.
He would push it under the bed with his nose
And I'd fish it out with a smile.
And before very long
He'd tire of the ball
And be asleep in his corner
In no time at all.
And there were nights when I'd feel him
Climb upon our bed
And lie between us, And I'd pat his head.
And there were nights when I'd feel this stare
And I'd wake up and he'd be sitting there
And I reach out my hand and stroke his hair.
And sometimes I'd feel him sigh
and I think I know the reason why.
He would wake up at night
And he would have this fear
Of the dark, of life, of lots of things,
And he'd be glad to have me near.
And now he's dead.
And there are nights when I think I feel him
Climb upon our bed and lie between us,
And I pat his head.
And there are nights when I think
I feel that stare
And I reach out my hand to stroke his hair,
But he's not there.
Oh, how I wish that wasn't so,
I'll always love a dog named Beau.

Maria Mckee - Show me Heaven (Romantic version)
Flashing fever from your eyes
Hey babe, come over here and shut down tight
I'm not denying
We're flying above it all ... See More
Hold my hand, don't let me fall
You've such amazing grace
I've never felt this way
Show me heaven
Cover me
Leave me breathless
Show me heaven please
Here I go
I'm shaking just like breeze
Hey babe I need your hand to steady me
I'm not denying
I'm frightened as much as you
Though I'm barely touching you
I've shivers down my spine
And it feels divine
Show me heaven
Cover me
Leave me breathless
Show me heaven please
If you know what it's like
To dream a dream
Baby hold me tight
And let this be your...heaven
Cover me
Leave me breathless
Show me heaven please

Future Designer laptop - ROLLTOP //Diploma Thesis//
The device of the flexible display allows a new concept in notebook design growing out of the traditional bookformed laptop into unfurling and convolving portable computer.
By virtue of the OLED-Display technology and a multi touch screen the utility of a laptop computer with its weight of a mini-notebook and screen size of 13 inch easily transforms into the graphics tablet, which with its 17-inch flat screen can be also used as a primary monitor.
On top of everything else all computer utilities from power supply through the holding belt to an interactive pen are integrated in Rolltop. This is really an all-in-one gadget.

This is my tribute to the hilarious work the actors in these infomercials do.
I considered editing this to epic music like O Fortuna or Benny Hill being the obvious choice, but settled on "Help!" because I thought it fit better and also musically had more variation which is good for editing punctuations and beats.

Skinput: Appropriating the Body as an Input Surface (CHI 2010)
We present Skinput, a technology that appropriates the human body for acoustic transmission, allowing the skin to be used as a finger input surface. In particular, we resolve the location of finger taps on the arm and hand by analyzing mechanical vibrations that propagate through the body. We collect these signals using a novel array of sensors worn as an armband. This approach provides an always-available, naturally-portable, and on-body interactive surface. To illustrate the potential of our approach, we developed several proof-of-concept applications on top of our sensing and classification system.
